Sending emails from your VPS

SMTP Outbound ports : 25, 465 and 587 are blocked by default on all VPS to prevent spamming. You can contact us to request unblocking. We will ask you information about the kind of email you want to send, the volume of email you plan to send as well as some technical questions. This is to protect the reputation of our IPs by ensuring they are not used to spam. Unblocking decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.

Can i install a different OS than the ones offered at checkout ?

You can manually mount a wide range of isos (including Window server, Kali, Arch, Pfsense etc…) from your customer area in the ISOs section of the relevant server. Please note that manually installing from ISOs require some additional setup as detailled here.

How can i access my server ?

Upon order you will be given ssh access to your server. You will also have VNC access available in your control panel. In case you did not receive your root password by email you can go to your server page at https://my.servers.guru and click on the "rebuild" button. This will reinstall your server and a new root password will be shown to you.

How to upgrade my VPS ?

You can upgrade your VPS in the "Upgrade" tab of your VPS tab in your control panel You can choose if you want to upgrade only the CPU and RAM or also the disk size. If you choose to upgrade the disk size as well, it will not be possible to downgrade to a smaller disk size in the future. Please make sure you have enough credit on your wallet to pay for the plan difference. After your server is upgraded you next billing term will be at the new plan price. If you need to downgrade in the future you will need to open a ticket as this is not yet automated.
